Try being hungry for three days. Or a week. Then you might know what it means to be truly hungry.

When a Christian fasts, he's not supposed to tell anyone, or indeed show any indication that he's doing so. I guess the idea is that religion shouldn't be an outward show.

Hi today I felt super good, I think its cuz I had a super meal last night.

and to everyone who is wondering why am doing Ramadan, its exactly as I said in the first post - just like that, no reason, an experiment, nothing more nothing less.

        Sandy,

If you ever feel like experimenting in the bedroom and giving us the details, feel free.

well if ur fasting in arabia or some other muslim country it won't be unusal because everyone would be doing it unless they are too old or ill or on a long journey perhaps!

In muslim countries you can get arrested or get beaten if you eat anything in public during ramadan.

I don't understand eating all a big meal the night before.... If I eat a big meal late at night I always wake up hungry ??
Good job I'm not doing Ramadan really

It's definitely the case that you appreciate food more if you skip a meal or two every now and then. Perhaps we weren't designed to have 3 meals a day?

Yesterday I was a bit worried about fasting today, have deadline and lots of work, need to concentrate and didn't want the distraction of thirst (hunger gone After 3rd day of fasting) but then I had second thought and decided am going to do it - love a challenge me so stayed determined to do it.

Today something really strange happened, usually my mouth gets so dry and I feel really thirsty, but today I had this feeling in my mouth as if I just had a glass of cool water almost till around 5 pm. My mouth was not dry at all (and the bad breath that usually accompany fasting was not there or at least that's what I think )

I am trying to do some searching to find out if this is a normal effect after 9-10 days of fasting, I knew after 3 days hunger would go, but didn't know that thirst would disappear too!
