NatWest will refuse to serve business customers who accept cryptocurrencies

Head of the lender’s risk committee categorised cryptocurrencies as ‘high risk’

NatWest will refuse to serve business customers who accept payment in cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin, which the UK lender has categorised as “high risk”.

Morten Friis, a NatWest board member and head of its risk committee, said the bank was taking a “cautious approach” to cryptocurrencies, and would closely monitor any change in tone from the UK regulator, which has warned that consumers stand to lose all their cash by investing in crypto assets.

bitcoin is already compromised. It is controlled by large corporations that drink the WallStreet cool-aid. It has slightly deviated from it's initial paper and current fees structure make it difficult to serve any purpose. People are divided and fail to see the part of technologies that make it special.

We've failed once again as a society and we are still run by a neo-feudalism structure of old money and some frat guys.

and by not talking about it we are just landing on the same narrative that the current establishment is promoting and wants to wipe out any threat.

            Constructive conversation is key.

“A Turkish cryptocurrency trader is feared to have fled the country with $2 billion of his investors’ assets, garnered from fraudulent sales.

Faruk Fatih Ozer, 27, has left hundreds of thousands of furious customers in his wake, having allegedly carried out one of the largest ever cryptocurrency scams. Ozer was photographed going through passport control at Istanbul airport and police suspect he has fled to either Albania or Thailand.

Ozer’s Istanbul-based company, Thodex Exchange, was selling dogecoin, a digital currency founded in 2013, for a quarter of its market value. The company has generated much publicity, boosted by support from Elon Musk, the billionaire Tesla boss, who had promoted it on social media.”

Feeling fearful? Better sell now before the market really tanks? Emotion is a money killer. Fear & Greed index now at 37. Blood is on the streets, it is literally the best moment to buy, into the fear.

Totally driven by fear and greed.

                    Great investment.
Scoots still says that Apr 2020 didn't mark the start of a new stock bull market.
