Saw this yesterday and thought how cynical an excuse that was to bank his 10000%+ profits. Surprised LTC is still holding up.Originally posted by JHadd View PostComment

I don't think that's the case. I follow Charlie on twitter and he seems like a good guy. If he was doing it just to cash in, there wouldn't be much point in announcing it afterwards, or at all.Originally posted by ChimpMaster View PostSaw this yesterday and thought how cynical an excuse that was to bank his 10000%+ profits. It looks like he didn't have a huge amount and it didn't impact price at the time he sold. The announcement itself probably made more of a ripple than the sale.Comment

I just transferred my LTC to bittrex to buy some ripple.Originally posted by FrontEnder View PostI don't think that's the case. I follow Charlie on twitter and he seems like a good guy. If he was doing it just to cash in, there wouldn't be much point in announcing it afterwards, or at all.

Just doing some research on long term holds that seem good value right now. XLM, TRON, WAVES, SIACOIN, SALT, any thoughts?
I see more risk in long term holding the high value coins than the cheap priced ones...Last edited by Olly550; 21 December 2017, 10:00.Comment

Been out and about the last fews days skiing, enjoying life! Feels better not being glued to me screen day n day out, although not easy.
Glancing through the posts I noticed too many folks are following the dollar value of their investments. Which it's okay if paired with the dollar like Dash, ETC, XRP and whatnot, however if you're trading with alts paired with BTC then short and accumulate with the idea of selling at a future BTC value. This is exactly what I've been up to, it works.Last edited by scooterscot; 21 December 2017, 10:36."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Some thought the bitcoin 'meltdown!' had liquidated you
I thought you had dissapeared and bought a villa in Monaco...

Looking at the charts for altcoins - pretty much every one saw a massive surge in the spring/summer vs the BTC price at the same time. I remember this was when bitcoin was last in the news a lot after getting back up to an ATH.
The charts are looking very similar here. If we get back to those levels before it crashes, those of us in now and trading or hodling alts will be very happy. That will definitely be a point to cash out some profit for me.
Fingers crossed....Comment

There's no question, I'm consumed with the whole thing. Have reached the stage where I can see if I do nothing then the portfolio will be in the multiple of millions by the end of 2018.Originally posted by Olly550 View PostSome thought the bitcoin 'meltdown!' had liquidated you
