Halal-bert Square: BBC to build a mosque on new £15m soap set

Producers want show to be more authentic, despite having just one Muslim family
If they want to make it authentic then remove all the white faces.

No Polish / Eastern Europeans in Albert Square? (sorry don't watch it)
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

For authentic east end London, simply bin the scripts off and just have people walking past each other in silence staring at their phones, with the odd mugging and bit of racist abuse from whoever's got the most people in their group. You also need to have more non-whites speaking English than whites.

              Yep.

Ok I confess I've watched 3 episodes in the past few weeks.

I am puzzled why there is a family living on top of the pub. Normally they would have staff from around the world. Then close the pub down and turn it into a block of flats or a Tesco Metro.

They should build a 30 storey block of flats to be inhabited by office workers from canary wharf.

You're thinking of Poplar; Bow/Leyton are a bit different.
