How random. They didn't use to show Dot going to Church (did they?) despite her faith being a big part of her character. So why can't the Muslim characters just say "we're off to the Mosque"?

Ignorance of the oppression of non-Muslims in Muslim countries isn't exactly conducive to your argument.
I'd have as legit a beef about Christianity because of the Crusades and the Inquisition if it was all about being against a religion because of the actions of extremists. I personally find the "love your neighbour" and "turn the other cheek" nonsense objectionable, but I wouldn't have a rant about a soap opera set building a church...Comment
