Point is there are examples of people and groups in all faiths who are nutters or fundamental in a way that isn't compatible with modern democrat thought.

Some Muslim denominations are fine with democracy others aren't in the same way some Christian denominations think they can control democratic governments, and you don't have to look very far to see that.

All practising religious people put God above man-made laws. It doesn't matter what religion they are.
