Just swapped the BIOS chip in from a 2nd machine & hey presto it booted
So is there anyway of using the good BIOS chip to flash the second?

Is it not possible to short some things to reset BIOS? I though modern computers had 2 BIOSes - one read only to use in case 1st one get whacked - I think they decided to do something like this after one virus that was flashing BIOSes.Comment
