ReThink, the new force in IT staffing

Emma, do you think that a lot of recruitment companies have lost sight of a simple truth, i.e. that recruitment is a people business? What about the quality of your people? Do you feel their experience, knowledge and motivation is the key to delivering a great client and candidate experience?

Anyways, you need to let your technical people know that if you use the job search facility on your website you only appear to have positions for "This page is currently under Construction".

Anyway, all that aside, what is the likely contract rate for this gig? I know some Delphi folks but without an indicator as to rate they won't be interested in looking up from their desks.

This is a junior position so is looking to pay a fixed rate salary around £20,000.

Our current website is under construction.

Any questions please feel free to ask

What's a "fixed rate salary" of £20k? Do you mean it is a fixed £20k for doing the gig, in which case for how long? Or are you saying this is a permie position. In which case, the name of the site, Contractor UK, might tell you something about your chances of getting a bite from here.

I think for that salary you'd be better off posting an ad at the local job centre !!!

Indeed, if it's a £20k pa permie job you won't get any Delphi programmer out of bed for that. particularly if you're expecting them to commute to London Bridge.

I'm sure there are, but as this is a contractors' board you're asking the wrong people. In any case, for £20k pa at London Bridge, you will not get a Delphi programmer from anywhere except India.

Or is your client angling to get someone in from India and has commissioned you so that they can say they advertised the job domestically but got no takers so they can bring someone in cheap to satisfy a skills shortage?
