In that case it's not difficult in Asp.net either. As someone mentioned, the System.Net.Mail class lets you do it pretty easily.Comment

For how to call a server side script, have a look at http://www.gatekeeperel.co.uk/managecart.html
Select email order, put in your valid email address and fill the rest with any old rubbish. On submit it sends two mails including an acknowledgement of order to you.
On script code itself, not being terribly up in server side stuff I am not sure if NickFitz' comment that it is powered by ASP.net does preclude use of php. Maybe you should have a look at host page and see what is available. I could give some examples of some php based scripts but no idea about ASP apart from one killing queen Cleo.bloggoth
