    It's for a PC but no one seems to have a good thing to say about the MyBook. It was going to be my first choice because it seems simple to use in a plug and play way and I was going to get the NAD version to share the data over my LAN. But alas no, I guess I need to find another solution.

      I think it depends on what version you buy - I've got the "Pro" (not Studio or vanilla) and it's good.

        I'll admit it does look good, but not good enough to blow that sort of money. Surely most people who buy rack mount kit don't care too much how it looks, just how it performs. It's not like you're going to let Joe public wander into your data centre to have a fiddle whenever he fancies....

        I'm surprised they sell any tbh.
