Not really a concern for us - we won't support sites for clients who aren't up-to-date with their security patches, so if they're all forced to upgrade to v3 then so be it.Be warned that the latest 10.4 security update will also upgrade Safari to version 3, so if having version 2 is important to you, don't install it.
I'm currently working on fixing a version 2 bug, so I've had to deny myself the joys of better security
Same mode of thought that dispensed with testing in IE5.2 as it's unsupported, and to hell in a handbasket with Opera and Netscape.

You mean you had nothing better to do than keep all those poor sods in meetings and waiting round .....
certainly not - I had proper work to do, but I had to do something to cover up fopr the fact that I was 15 minutes late stinking of beer and caught completely on the back foot..
