Dyson

wash the filters regularly explain to the little woman how to unblock the hose and you will be very happy with it. 9 years and counting.

Buy a Henry , reliable sturdy cheap and go on for ever , you can even have a hetty if you want a female vac , or a george if you want a wet / dry one.

British made as well unlike Dyson which is mostly manufactured in China and last about a year if your lucky

Gone through 2 - bits break and fixing it was too expensive. They are very loud.

Plus the cleaner refused to use the second one. I thought she was just moaning, but then tried to use it - the b****y hose kinks every time you move, which stops any suction, so you have to then unkink (?) it.

Now have a Miele. Has a bag but works.

Clearly with Dysons being suceptible (sp?) to so much wear and tear, Mrs PL is not using ours anywhere near enough.

How do I bring this subject up without having to be put on pot noodle rations for the coming weeks? :D

Scientists have found that 97% of married women suffer from "Dysons Disease"

They make a f**kin horrid whining sound but just don't suck any more!!!

:D
