I suspect this is down to volume of orders.....the bumpf around sell orders says that they attempt to sell at defined price, but this will be affeceted by how many other sell orders for the same are attempting simulatenously. Thing is, the live price will constantly be affected by buying and selling, so by the time a given sell order tries to execute, the price may well have dropped off again.
My approach, and I am no expert, is to set a less 'round' price as I suspect this will be less common and therefore a better chance to complete. I went for 501p as this was sufficient to cover the £11.95 dealing fee and still leave +50%.....

I've got a sell limit order at a most ridiculous price (over 650p). If it goes at that price - fair enough.

I was hoping price would have fallen off by now...maybe in a couple of more weeks. Than I'd be thinking about buying a hunk and holding onto for divvis.

I wonder if any of those with a sell order at 500 will be cashing in today?

I can't decide whether to go for the quick buck or hang on for the long term

EDIT: I see they did touch 500 in fact

Blimey. I sold at 455 intending to buy more when they dropped...

I was planning too. But they didn't drop much after the strike announcement.
