sounds like your doing something wrong, if your pushing yourself that hard. Perhaps you need to find something your good at?Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostAnd a splitting headache.
Started at 4am yesterday. Executive Meeting started at 8am finished at 8pm. Had a splitting headache. Then drinks / meal / work socializing until midnight.
Now up at 5am, bang headache still, short burst to update presentation in office at 7, schedule is 7.30 until 7pm, three hour presentation questions / answers / strategy from me before next presenters, then straight back out for schmoozing / final meal / meet more people.
****** knackered. Wish i was just a simple contractor.Comment

Interesting bit on the PM prog a couple of days ago from an Oxford professor of circadian rhythm studies, or something like. Apparently we are all hardwired to be asleep at night and awake in the day. People who work nightshifts even for 20 years never get really used to it. Margarate Thatcher famously managed on 4 hours a night and her decision making went down the swannee. And she got canned. Why does the "corporate world" need people to pretend they aren't human?
I remember the headaches after being in labour for 44 hours then not being able to sleep in hospital. Your body is telling you need sleep mate.Comment
