I kid you not on this, I was contracted to a constabulary once and someone in their gender diversity team gave us the list of possible genders that a person could choose to identify themselves. There were a lot more than two :S

A stands for "association" in my context.

But technically I'm wrong, LGBT* is about sexuality not gender-identity.
