I can imagine twins to be a much more intense challenge at any stage. Am quite glad I only ended up with one!

When Frau D. was pregnant, the doctor gave her a date on which she would deliver and on that day she popped into town on the bus and went shopping. When I arrived home from work we had a meal and then sat down on the floor and had a game of Monopoly during which she gave small moans and I suggested that maybe we should pop up to the hospital. It wasn't until about 22:00 that she acquiesced and I drove her up there. About 90 minutes later the little bugger popped his head out, now that was a quick one (apart from the previous 9 months)
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Don't forget to trim. SY02 was most particular about that, and wouldn't even consider going into labour unless it was nice and neat.

How did it make you feel that she made more effort for the doctor than she does for you?

You think she made an effort? I slipped him a £20 to pop an extra couple of stitches in.
