If Scolari agreed, then how would FA and fans feel about him beating England again in a rather low handed way? Remember - his school if coaching is based on the Arts of War book, which is basically do anything to win as its life and death situation, so no doubt Ronaldo is just a good pupil.

The FA should have held out and got Scolari, Hiddink or even O'Neill. They didn't and English football at international level will suffer for it.

I thought ONeill would be the man to restore England, but I suspect Eric has managed to wangle so much cash from the FA they cant afford anybody of calibre now.

I mean the FA have to pay Eric five million pounds for the next five years as his golden handshake, that means they will still be coughing up a million quid the year AFTER the next World Cup, ie 2011.

Fergie is well known anti English (something to do with him being Scots I understand) so don't be surprised if he gives Ronny a bonus and lets Rooney spend the season in the reserves.... obviously after he has broken the cheating gits nose that is.

On the final game against Portugal I would have played 442 with Crouch starting (due to a lack of other options). I would have dropped Lampard and shoved Beckham in the middle (or possibly dropped him for Hargreaves) and started Lennon.

honestly, such sore losers! Blaming Ronaldo for Rooney's stamp on Ricardo and subsequent well deserved red card is ludicrous and you know it.
