I can get to the kitchen through the lounge. She should have stuck it to the fridge. oh well, lesson learnt. -
If it's Artex, absolutely, and strip it all away before you repaint (*)Originally posted by Pondlife View PostPaint the lounge cos I hate the wallpaper. ...
Vile stuff, and the pattern on it collects dust and cobwebs and makes a room look significantly smaller.

WTFUntil the mid-1980s, the Artex coating was made with white asbestos to strengthen it. This means that only old Artex manufactured by Artex Ltd. will contain asbestos and most probably any Artex applied after 1990 will not contain any harmful material whatsoever. It is also worth noting that the texture is only harmful when in a powder form, i.e., being sanded, and poses no risk whatsoever while it is undisturbed on ceilings or walls and covered with emulsion paint.

spend rest of the week watching underwear models or cute gymnasts with large guns. You are allowed to wimp out occasionally and watch Godfather, Blade or Predator, clothing optional and vegetables probably not needed.Comment
