        Found it a bit silly compared to LOTR films, and thought the dwarves were rubbish. The main one didn't even have a proper beard.

        The point I suppose is that Hobbit is a children's story and doesn't attempt to be otherwise.

          Saw this Boxing Day at IMAX Waterloo, time flew by.

          Didn't look at my watch for 1.75 hours, that's pretty good, if it was a tulip film I'd have checked the time in the first 30 mins.

          3D was OK, but not a jot on Avatar for full on 3D.
          Never has a man been heard to say on his death bed that he wishes he'd spent more time in the office.
