Bought a Motorola Xoom and quite happy with it but way overpriced and I should have waited for a bit.
It got better when I installed the US image which made it a true Google Experience Device so timely OS updates rather than waiting months for Motorola to release updates.
Is it useful? Sometimes handy to get email on the move, SSH to the servers I look after and browse, Kindle and some frippery apps but nothing I can't do on my phone, netbook and laptop.
Would I buy another tablet? No.Comment

He's wasn't excluding people who don't want to tinker around and I'd guess that about 99% of android owners don't.Originally posted by VectraMan View PostI'd love to know where this idea comes from. I've never once dicked around, rebuilt or tweaked my Android phone. And it automatically updated itself to ICS, and now JellyBean without me having to do a thing (other than say yes). It all just works.
But if you DO want to tinker around with the OS then android is the only real optionCoffee's for closersComment

I was thinking of the 10" Note too, not seen any direct views between that and the Tab though.Originally posted by mrdonuts View PostNever has a man been heard to say on his death bed that he wishes he'd spent more time in the office.Comment

If you want 3g then iPad, if not then Asus Transformer Prime or the new Asus TF300 if you're flush.
I've got a Prime and it's fab.Last edited by Lockhouse; 16 August 2012, 08:36....my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...

Like previous posters have said the Nexus 7 rocks, who needs 3G when you can tether it to you phone without the need for an additional SIM/Contract.In Scooter we trust
