No 2D acceleration yet for X but... There's a config file that you can use to overclock... Be careful until you've got a spare as if you alter the voltage a write-once bit gets set so they know that you've cooked the chip.

TBH, I've a 6 core 64 bit processor on my desktop at home, a 32(hyperthreading) core dual processor machine at work and for the really meaty stuff Intel let me play with their multi-processor 50 core jobs at their labs in Reading.
Clocking my Pi(soon to be plural) to get an extra couple of 100mhz out of them isn't really a priority.

A couple of the XBMC distros (Raspbmc and Darkelec) overclock the CPU by default - that's not such a good idea if this write-once bit is set
I'm running Raspbmc RC3 on mine at the moment, and finding it incredibly stable compared to previous builds. My second Pi turned up yesterday (I got impatient waiting for my 1st one from Farnell so ordered a second from RS) and no idea what to do with that yet.
I used a test build of Wheezy on mine and got it setup as a "download station" using;
sabNZBD
CouchPotato
SickBeard
Headphones and
Deluge
Although a little slower to respond than on my HP MicroServer (to be expected as the difference is CPU terms is massive) it could be used quite easily for someone that wants a cheap, always on download system.Comment
