Flooding on hills is rare but temporary rivers deciding the quickest path is through your house isn't.

I'm on the Clyde coast about half an hour west of Glasgow. Forecast until Thursday is severe gales and more rain so flooding will continue. Could be heading your way.Originally posted by d000hg View PostClip what part of Scotland are you in? I'm in NE England and not even had rain yet, sun is out this morning in fact! Anyone have any idea of places who provide kit for projects like this ?I seem to remember that your water company will charge you for using the water - even if it's just passing through a turbine. No, I'm not joking.Originally posted by Cliphead View PostI'd be interested as well.+50 Xeno Geek Points

Strangely enough, off the coast didn't get anything like the rain you got during the night.Originally posted by Cliphead View PostI'm on the Clyde coast about half an hour west of Glasgow. Forecast until Thursday is severe gales and more rain so flooding will continue. Could be heading your way.

It's winter in Scotland so it rains, big deal. Do you southerners dissolve in the rain or what?
