Getting flooded

I'll actually need to look into this. Have a small stream in my garden (well, it's a ******* river today) but there is a small wterfall type thing at the back of the garden where it comes through a concrete tube under the road, so it is always moving.

Anyone have any idea of places who provide kit for projects like this ?

Since the house is 300ft up a hill flooding has never been a problem before.

Flooding on hills is rare but temporary rivers deciding the quickest path is through your house isn't.

I'm on the Clyde coast about half an hour west of Glasgow. Forecast until Thursday is severe gales and more rain so flooding will continue. Could be heading your way.

Strangely enough, off the coast didn't get anything like the rain you got during the night.

I knew nothing of the flooding until I got off the ferry this morning to find Wemyss Bay to Langbank under a couple of feet of water.
