FTSE is slowing now. Acceleration on banks slowing. I reckon it's going to go into reverse in the next hour and then an increase into gold over the day.
Sold all FTSE 250 stocks I owned by yesterday, sitting on cash waiting for Greece to default.
Come on Greece don't let us down!

Still a little bit bemused that gold isn't doing very much currently, with the Greek crisis building momentum and perhaps ECB, Euro and perhaps even the EU itself and Euro countries seemingly steaming full speed and rudderless towards crunch time. Looking close now. All doom.Comment

Equity markets have been drifting sideways last few weeks punctuated by the odd '£50Billion' drop reported in the news followed by a '£50Billion' quiet gain, not reported.Originally posted by TimberWolf View PostStill a little bit bemused that gold isn't doing very much currently, with the Greek crisis building momentum and perhaps ECB, Euro and perhaps even the EU itself and Euro countries seemingly steaming full speed and rudderless towards crunch time. Newsnight seems to be a doomsfest everytime I watch it now. Just done a quick sliding scale analysis on Gold. You've got a greater chance of losing than winning. I'm going to stick to equities for now.Originally posted by TimberWolf View PostNewsnight seems to be a doomsfest everytime I watch it now. More so even than CUK on a good doom day

I was watching the price against Sterling, but I see the most impressive drops have been against other currencies: euros, dollars, CAD, CHF. It's holding steady against Australian dollars.Comment
