At which point someone phones you and you reset it right?
I confess, I am Admin

It is seemingly problematic to explain a simple business concept to all you "businessmen" and "businesswomen".
It seems you're so busy defending yourself you forgot to read my post, which was a genuine comment... it seems weird people would give up their PC overnight considering they might have work (or unsavoury media) on it.
Also since you're using your home as a place of business I hope you've notified the council.

Yep in more ways than one. Currently seeking planning to build an office. No wait, I told you this already.
I think his analogy is you have three people, one wants his laptop fixed on Monday, one on Tuesday and one on Thursday. The fact that SY would have to factor in three trips and waste his evenings (which might not be free) when he could give the customer the idea that he is saving him money by saying if you bring it in on Saturday at 10 I'll only charge you £15 for it which now means that at 10am on a Saturday he's got three jobs which will bring in £45 for 15 minutes work (his timings) rather than bringing in £150 for three hours work.
I think the logic is sound.
I think the logic falls down on the assumption that his evening might not be free. One only has to look at the posting pattern to see the flaw in the plan.

So they drop the PCs at yours, that's much better but really I'm surprised people will go for it.
One man's meat in another man's poison.
If I was dropping my PC off somewhere for a repair, the very least I would expect would be a business premises rather than a mid-terrace house. Slightly different if it's a mate who will sort it out...
I hope (in all sincerity) that SY01 has all the appropriate business and home insurances in place - if there was a break in and four or five PCs got nicked, I'd want expect a replacement immediately like any other big business would do. Or significant compensation for any delay, plus loss of data.
