And it's all melted already. It can't even be that cold if the snow melts in 5 minutes.

I used to live on Fram High-street, near the curry houses
At least the main roads round there are all bus routes, IF you can get out of the side streets. Seems it may be set in, but when it did this last year the snow just sat on the un-gritted streets for weeks, turning to sheet ice. You might consider getting some good tyres if you're working up here over the winter.
