Reputation

The emoticon is in the list of available ones, in the row above the :spel one and below the :igmc: one.
Beware of that. Every once in a while the smilies change places, just to confuse us.

[NickFitz usually spots this first and used to mention it in TPD when it happened.]

I was just taking an idle look at my profile and noticed I had a load of reputation!

I'm confused. I'm sure I've seen where it tells you what your reputation score is, but I can't for the life of me find it anymore. I'm looking at my profile but can't see it.

Am I being blind? or do I simply have no reputation? :o

Click on the star on your own post and it'll tell you.
Plus at the top of the Setttings bit

It's a bit of a mystery to me too, as have been away from this forum for a while.

Is "Should be listened to" better than "Makes sense" or vice-versa?

Probably, or maybe not.

Look at Community and sort member list by Rep and you'll see your relative standing and the titles

Thanks - I haven't seen that list since the forum upgrade (possibly before) it's almost certainly my own fault - giving me a computer is like giving a monkey a typewriter. I have lifted the the relevant text from the quoted posts though.
This is just an image:

I think it goes

Tape changer
Slower than 486
Struggles to be listened to
Mostly Harmless <-- where we all start from
Makes Sense
Should be listened to <-- where mods start from
Knows their stuff

These are the levels which have been discovered so far.
I need my co-researcher to confirm this.

Thanks Wodewick.

It seems a bit random. Would prefer to make my own mind up about a poster's standing really rather than be told what the groupthink is.
