agree. I did not do this. I would expect the person who did to have ascertained this information.
All I'm saying is it seems strange a web host would drop something without warning first. This could result in a loss of reputation.
Maybe they dont care about their reputation ...... thats the thing, you know nothing about these people yet trust them with sensitive and important data?
Do you think the gypsies who knock on peoples doors offering to pave your driveway on the cheap care about their reputation if they don't do an A1 job?

I did not do this. The PM did. I posted this on here somewhat in disbelief at what has happened. Not sure why I am accountable for his **** up.

I hope this breaks things down enough for you.
You're going to be accountable, because last week you grassed up the PM to the Program Manager, and meanwhile you're on here posting about what a **** up he is, while he's probably hacking the Exchange folder to lead an audit trail to you.

You're in serious tulip!
thank frak the programme manager was on holiday then.
YOU encouraged me to go to the programme manager anyway
So you store data like attachments, files etc in the database ?
You deserve to lose the data.
It's a bug-tracking system. Every bug-tracking system allows attachments and images to be attached, without them it'd be fairly useless if someone sends a screenshot of a bug.
Why did he not just set up a local bugzilla/trac installation on-site?
I would love to post the f'ups at my place on here but I would rather not as I am sure it would lead to my instant removal from site should another contractor or permie2contractor spot this and mention it...
