I'm almost universally disappointed if I've read a book then see it later on film.

The only exception I can think of is Shawshank. Which does pretty much follow the book word-for-word, but in better chronological order.

This was one of those films which I would have enjoyed more if the actors were not well known names - in this case just Di Caprio really.

Loved the film though, I'd definitely recommend it!

I've just downloaded Descent 2 to watch tonight. Let's hope it's as good as the first.

Still waiting for a subtitled version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoos

Hmm, I'll look into Shutter Island.
