Well I could give to the one that will die anyway, but that would be a sentimental and pointless waste of money that would be much more thankfully received by the many elsewhere.

That is across the line. If you were in the pub I would have chinned you by now. I call you out as a sockie. I hope you are. If you are real you are a sick individual.

Ignores list beckons along with email to the mods.

But I am the business analyst. I am currently wiping the developers noses, massaging the project managers egos and taking crap from the programme manager.

OMFG, this is normal isn't it. :suicide:
:tantrum: Not it isn't! No bugger ever massaged my ego.

I think. :o

Anyway, it is the project manager's job to take crap from the programme manager, not yours. And it is the team leader's job to wipe the developer's noses.

Your best bet might be to embed yourself in the business and avoid the change mnagement bods. You know, go native. Disappear into the bowels of the organisation. Get involved in some 'process re-engineering' (i.e hiding in someone else's office).

Alternatively, throw some process crap at the project & programme managers: have they got thorough PIDs and business cases and benefits realisation plans? If not, how can you do your bit? See if you can give them the runaround. (Or have they dumped that on you? I would if I had a handy business analyst around near the start of a project. :D )

I do not mean to be rude but do you sometimes wonder why you are benched?

Maybe but "it is the project manager's job to take crap from the programme manager".

That is not how it works these days.

Agreed. The information you require is that the PM is a contractor on notice and is demob happy.

The "no wonder you are benched" comment evoked the reaction from me.
