Carbon Monoxide poisoning is also worth checking, more urgently than Candida or anything else to be honest, since it's affecting more than one person. This lends some weight to an environmental factor at work here.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

        Boiler lives outside.

And bizarrely, a strange symptom of this bug is that it makes you really tetchy. Me and SY02 have joked it's like that "rage" virus from the 28 days later film, with zombies and stuff.

It comes in waves, and you think you are getting better, then you get another wave of it.

              Anyone else got it?
If not carbon monoxide, do you close the bedroom windows on chilly nights? Or have you had the house draught-proofed this year?

Simple lack of adequate ventilation can make you feel groggy and affect your sleep quality, leading to grumpiness. (And in that state you're more likely to flip up interviews, which could be expensive.)

If so, simply hack a large hole in the wall and ceiling and install a decent fire place with chimney on the roof (see recent thread).

P.S. Also, don't drink tea or coffee of any sugary stuff after 8pm.

What are the main chemical culprits? Formaldehyde in MDF stuff (almost all cheap furniture). Exotic fireproofing chemicals in fabrics...lurgies ...?
