Commuting by river is increasingly popular. Also you can live in a hot-air balloon, and just drop in to work each day.

Hmm, I feel for you. I was just in London the other day by night and also the following day and the traffic was hoooorrrendous. Driving round the place trying to get out reminded me what a sh&thole it really is. I`m surprised my car hasn`t got battle scars and as for the average person I met - hmmmmmm, rude etc etc

if you have to do it consider renting somewhere outside of London and commuting in by train. FOr the right position I`d move there but I think I`d have to find somewhere outside of london to live.

As a foreign taxi driver said in a hotel during an argument over his fare - "I need my money, London is an expensive overpopulated place to live, I dunno why I continue to live in this horrible place."
