iPhone!!

[bogeyman]

Pretty much what I figured but wasn't sure. Never needed it or been asked if I can use it.

It had a brief flurry of interest but in the end, it was just another solution looking for a problem.

Do they still solder the battery in to prevent it from being easily replaced? Still, £55 isn't too bad. Better would be if you could just slip in a new battery yourself.

Dunno, but yes I agree it would be a lot better if you could do it yourself.

They've started having non-replaceable batteries in their laptops too. They claim it's so they can fit more cells in (the 17" macbook pro have 8 or maybe 10) but I'm not convinced.

What exactly is vcard and why do I need it?

vcard is a standard for electronic business cards, used by email, SMS, bluetooth. So, if you have a phone that's not an iPhone, I can text you my business card, and it will create an entry in your phone's address book.

The iPhone can handle it via email but not SMS. A small, but indicative failure.

Indicative of what?

Sorry, but no, still don't see the need for it. Never been sent one or been asked for one.

I just bought one, and it is all that AND a bag of potato chips!

Where's the poll?
