That's from Apple & out of warranty. If it's not holding a charge in the warranty period they'll fix it for free."See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. In fact, while you talk, I'm thinking; How can I give less of a tulip? That's why I look interested." -
Thats an intended feature. It goes into screen saver mode when you answer a call and put it to your ear, to save on battery life. It detects the motion when you bring it back down again and turns the display back on so you can hang up.Originally posted by Dandyman View Posthmm, it's impressive to start with, but the battery life is shocking, and the
actual phone is poor, many times my screen has gone blank and I've had to
wait for it to revert back to the phone application before the call can end.
After the novelty wears off, I don't think it's all that (as a phone if not
a portable media player)
Yes, the battery life is not great, but I charge it every day anyway so it's never really been an issue."Being nice costs nothing and sometimes gets you extra bacon" - Pondlife.Comment

One that can handle vcard format. The vast majority of phones on the market can handle this natively. But not the iPhone.Originally posted by SallyAnne View PostWhat are the best apps to install?

My biggest gripe - just about lasts a working day. If I'm going out, I have to charge it at work.Originally posted by Dandyman View Posthmm, it's impressive to start with, but the battery life is shocking,
But then I have 3G or wifi on all day, watch videos to & from work and generally give it a bit of a caning."See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. In fact, while you talk, I'm thinking; How can I give less of a tulip? That's why I look interested."Comment

Do they still solder the battery in to prevent it from being easily replaced? Still, £55 isn't too bad. Better would be if you could just slip in a new battery yourself.Originally posted by Moscow Mule View PostThat's from Apple & out of warranty. Pretty much what I figured but wasn't sure. Never needed it or been asked if I can use it.Originally posted by bogeyman View Post"Being nice costs nothing and sometimes gets you extra bacon" - Pondlife.Comment
