I am drinking something I have not had for about 20 years: a bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale.

Last time I had about 12 bottles of it and was as sick as a parrot. Probably in the top 3 alcohol-induced puking sessions I have ever had. I was still chucking up at 2pm the next day. Still, it was a cracking night in the Mean Fiddler that I shall never forget.

This time I shall just stick to one and see what happens.

A ten pound fine and a year's probation.
A bottle of pills and constipation.
Ooooooooh, I'll never drink Brown Ale again."
I was taught that by a couple of mercenaries one their way out to Africa when I was a teenager.

There's nothing wrong with Newcastle Brown, it's what I revert to if I happen to end up in a lager pub where John Smiths (tasteless) is the only bitter option.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Haven't drunk Newcastle Brown since I was at Uni. Pound a bottle at the union bar.

At a previous gig I walked past a Cafe Nero each morning. Actually that's wrong, I never walked past it

It got to the point where the barista would see my arrive and then have my order waiting for me by the time I got to the front of the queue, without any verbal communication required.
Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?
