Ah. I see where you get it from now.
You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

Maybe not. Now winning from 3-0 down in a final, against AC Milan, that's been done.....Originally posted by EternalOptimist View PostNo other team ever came back from 2-0 down.

Ah yes, Mike Treble Cock's final. Wins the FA Cup and is never heard of again, like West Ham's Alan Taylor, Southampton's Bobby Stokes and Ipswich's Roger Osborne. They were the good old days, when heroes could disappear in the blink of an eye.Originally posted by EternalOptimist View PostI do indeed.
My earliest footy memory was in 1966, FA cup final, Sheffield Wednesday 2 Everton 0 with half an hour to go.
Everton came back to win 3-2 in the most glorious final ever. No other team ever came back from 2-0 down. Some people go on about the World cup victory in the same year, but what do they know about their history ?
I remember my dad standing on his head in front of the telly. Got carried away sometimes , my dad did.

Also I think we got some bloke called Torres....heard he can play a bit.
