    Bin the Caterham...

    .... and the Westfields etc.

The best car in this class is the Ariel Atom....
The current 300bhp will do 0-60 in 2.7......
and when the 500 comes out 0-60 in "less than" 2.5.......

Drive it to your track day..... do the race and drive home.....

Oh and unlike the Caterhams/Westfields it isn't a 1960's design.....

Cars are a total waste of money. Well almost - they are only worth having because public transport is so bad in this country. Total money pits.

And where is the driving experience that everyone twats on about? Clogged roads, speed cameras and lanes designed for droving sheep.

All are powered using smelly, noisy old 19th Century technology - they should be running on dilythium crystals by now.

Far better to put the money towards a modest flat in every major town and spend the rest on a bike and a bus pass.

I like Top Gear but absolutely everything is staged. In the 'races' there are loads of shots of cars bombing past a camera at the side of the road. Unless they have a huge number of cameramen dotted along the route in the hope that the car passes with an unobstucted view or they have to stop the 'race' at certain points to film these sections.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

        I preferred version 1!

          That's my plan.

Buy a flat in Manchester city centre then I can walk to anywhere worth going. They're almost giving them away at the moment, so it's very tempting.

Just got to see out the 'downturn' and hope there's still a contract market to go back to, that's not outside the congestion charge zone.
Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it
