The Caterham may be quicker round the track but it won't do 250+ MPH and certainly isn't as comfortable in the rain.

Where can you do 250mph and more to the point why would you want to? £890,000 to keep dry and comfy, No thanks. At least a Caterham can be used as a proper sports car rather than a science project with no practical use whatsoever.

I think you have missed the point of a Caterham, they are aimed at enthusiasts and club race drivers not people who see driving as an inconvenience and therefore want to be removed from the experience as much as possible.

I thought the exact same thing, i am admittedly a geek but veritas is pretty far from a cool looking car.

Not only that, but for the price you could have a House, a Caterham for the summer and a 2nd hand Aston Martin.

I think they did try with the Caterham 21 iirc. Which was yet another Lotus rip off, of the Elise!

I'm sure they're fine track cars, but I'd feel about as safe in one on the road as I do in my C5.

There's a 'classic car' dealers on my commute. They've got a beautiful racing green Morgan.

They're like a caterham, but with a bit of class, n'est ce pas?

All very samey to me. No longer make an effort to watch it, though I do still watch it in the hope they'll somehow someday freshen it up.

Several things should have been killed off ages ago:

Pointless 'races'
Pretending to build something A Team style.

I suppose that leaves just the audience full of fit birds. They always line up a few tasty ones right behind the presenters.

Agreed. It needs something injecting into it to spice it up. Always feels like they sit down to plan a show and sit there for hours chewing their pen lids and wondering what to do.
