If another member dobs someone in then I would expect the mods to give you an infraction (if deemed necessary) and to use the system to give an explanation of why the infraction was applied. More often than not the report post system has been used to flag spam etc and with the new user moderation you should see no spam on the forum from now on.
RH - not sure if reports will count towards infractions, unlikely I would think as could easily be abused by end users signing up for multiple accounts to report posts of users they do not like etc. Mods can at least take an overview of the system and situation and apply infractions based on the reported posts. So in a roundabout way I guess reporting posts can help with infraction count for bad members.Comment

Admin - thanks, was as suspected.
Cheers for the new system - I'll try and avoid the temptation to report myself.Comment

Yup, you are right, reporting one's own posts was not an option before. Can't think why it would be necessary, will prob be fixed with next upgrade.Comment

Oh, one request btw - can we have some advance notice of the next board outage/maintenance if possible, perhaps in a sticky thread a la 'CUK forum' please?
Cheers.Comment

Floods, Black Friday, lost my Bic biro this morning, and now bizarre Naughty Triangle issues... all, I think, clearly described in Nostrodamus. Time to worry!Comment
