DA, can't help you being a Dwarf and all, just that the passat was uncomfortable for me personally, I needed one of those small inflatable pink pimps to use as a cushion in the small of my back to make it bearable, that was ok for a while, but the squeaking then became unbearable on long journeys.

We were talking about Passats...is that a new 2 seater? If you want a 2 seater, go for the Exige, or the Z4 or Honda S2000!!!

        Nothing like a Passat though!!!

I have a Honda and also think its great, how long does the snobbery last for the average contractor? The first thing I did when started was buy an Audi A4 which was nice but you start to realise that all the frilly bumph that goes with the extra money is a waste and what you should do is plough everything you earn into paying off the mortgage and retiring as early as possible as you never know when you may be forced into to it, the thought of the contract market drying up and being forced into a permie roll with nothing to show for my contract days scares me!

If you want to try a decent diesel, take test drive in a BMW 335d.

Now that is one hell of a diesel.

Anything else is just a feeble tractor engine.

What happened to Let-Me-In? Did he die in the last Harry Potter book, or what?

Is the new VAG 2.0 TDI even better? I think you can still buy the 1.9 but the 2.0 is more expensive and more powerful so just wondering if anyone has experience of both?

I'm 7'8" and I find the Passat just fine. Just keep the sunroof open.
