I have just renewed for a further 3 months, and all i can get access to is CUK, BBC and errm thats it.

Doesn't work if you need to install software - no company network worth its salt would allow users admin or power user privileges to install software.

Most system admins who are on the ball will have already blocked proxy sites also.

Surfing the net is one thing, but I've done gig where permie IT staff do **** all except surf cr@p all day and let us contractors do all the work.
