    I also want the f@cker to "just work" when I get back at the weekend. I think there's more chance of that with the audi.

      I don't like the TT, looks too girly for me!!! The Lotus Exige is a sexy car though but no room for my fishing gear....

                Budget is 14K, I want a reliable convertible.

                Thinking about the A4, but it's probably too big for nipping around town (most of my driving). TT (based on Golf platform) looks favourite???

                  D'you really want to spend 14k on the 'old' revision of a car though? Dunno, maybe it doesn't bother you, but for me it would be like spending £500 on a 42 inch flatscreen CRT TV instead of £1000 on a plasma of the same size...

                      Having a new car isn't that important to me, and I'm not sure I like the ridges down the bonnet of the new one.
