Not that big really - we'd both fallen in love with a venue that would have cost about £25k, but we've talked ourselves out of that now.

Gone for a much more down to earth and funky place where we can ditch the traditional stuff and just get everyone p*ssed all day - should cost about £10k max.

Plus, as we're both contractors, we'll pay half each....everything always feels like half price!

Congrats, it normal to be a little wary
We fell in love with our venue, but they tried to force the traditional wedding on us, I subsequently cancelled and told them what I wanted.
They called me back the next day and bosh, everything was as I wanted it, and the guests had a geat time... although I can't remember too much
