That doesn't appear to be true, low sallary seem to be first in line. I haven't yet heard of anyone drawing high sallary being investigated. Of course I've only heard of a douzen of people who have, but they all have the same thing in common. The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.” -
Yes and yes - 5 contracts all outside, took nearly 4 years and a huge amount of grief....my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...

Did you have insurance, (i.e. pcg backing) or did you have to do it all yourself?Originally posted by LockhouseYes and yes - 5 contracts all outside, took nearly 4 years and a huge amount of grief."Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny. Bag-o-pus, can you explain the logic of paying all your companies profits as salary being a great way to avoid an IR35 investigation?Originally posted by BagpussThat doesn't appear to be true, low sallary seem to be first in line. Like, yeah, don't tick the IR35 box and pay all that tax and NI on the salary, simply pay yourself all the profits in salary and pay all that tax and NI instead!
That'll show the greedy, punitive ****ers!Comment

Do they set internally a quota or threshould to capture those who pay themselves low salary and high div.? In this case, what should be paid attention to?Comment

If indeed they are picking certain cases, they will be doing it on likely take?Originally posted by topgunDo they set internally a quota or threshould to capture those who pay themselves low salary and high div.? In this case, what should be paid attention to?
i.e. go for those who will have to pay the most. Of course their hit rate is rather poor, but who wants the hassle? The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
