When booking easyjet I also found it more expensive if you buy for a group, if you buy separate tickets it's sometimes cheaper. Also delete cookies or go to incognito mode in case you searched before. Prices sometimes go up if you come back a day later but stay the same in incognito mode (not only easyjet BTW)

Price of new booking - £40. Price for changing the flights - £120. Total price of changing two flights, £240 as opposed to the expected £80.Originally posted by vetran View Post
how much extra? are we talking a couple of bottles of Frosty jacks or more than that?
Not going to break the bank, but why can't they just be transparent with prices, instead of pretending flight changes are free. If they'd said, sorry mate, changing your flights is going to cost you £80 each - fair enough. I'm not angry, easyJet, just disappointed.

No I agree with you, it's definitely to do with the prices of the new flights. No way will they move a £30 flight to a £150 flight for example. I obviously moved them when the new flights were still relatively low priced. I was just surprised, as I half expected them to over inflate the new flight prices and try and wangle some extra money out of meOriginally posted by NotAllThere View PostDid you check though? Perhaps if the new flights were cheaper, they wouldn't do this. Maybe it only becomes apparent when moving to a similar or more expensive. Or maybe it depends on how close to the flight it is.
The flight were more expensive. But it was clear I was being charged more than I would have been for new flights. If they'd charged me that rate, it would have been about £40. If I hadn't made the additional booking I would not have noticed.
It was only the outbound leg that was 3x the price. Inbound was the same price for both the changed and the additional flights.Comment

I try avoid Easycrap. One of many f-ups, I few from LGW to PRG and I bought the return leg at the EJ desk at LGW. I turned up at PRG to find there was no flight. I enquired at the EJ desk and they blamed me "You must have booked it wrong on the Internet!" WFT, how can you book an non-existent flight? They did not accept liability for the f-up made by EJ at Gatwick."A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices," George OrwellComment
