Matt I was thinking the same as Chef here. I thought you were running a 1060 rig originally. Even with the 2 1070s, I can't see you mining anywhere near $4500/month.

A 6 x 1080Ti rig barely gets $800/month.

The ROI works out at around a year including the electricity if ETH stabilises around $750-800 - including the leccy.

So you mine what is currently $150 a day , how much is the electricity cost for 1100 watts @ 24hrs? i.e what’s your actual profit per day?

Then finally what’s your investment costs? i.e what’s ROI

I’m just trying to understand how viable the business is

£3.42 per day is the cost to me in electricity. I am generating approximately $35/day, which is £26 at today's rate. That's £22.58 per day profit.

Based on the rig costs of approximately £3000-3500 (since adding and upgrading bits I haven't updated my spreadsheets so I don't have exact figures, but I know it's close) gives an ROI of 130-150 days.

Writing all this up has made me very tempted to cash some of my mining (i.e. non speculative funds) out.
