My bad - 0.05 - I missed a 0!Originally posted by ChimpMaster View PostMatt I was thinking the same as Chef here. I thought you were running a 1060 rig originally. Even with the 2 1070s, I can't see you mining anywhere near $4500/month.
A 6 x 1080Ti rig barely gets $800/month.
The ROI works out at around a year including the electricity if ETH stabilises around $750-800 - including the leccy.Comment

£3.42 per day is the cost to me in electricity. I am generating approximately $35/day, which is £26 at today's rate. That's £22.58 per day profit.Originally posted by chef View PostSo you mine what is currently $150 a day , how much is the electricity cost for 1100 watts @ 24hrs? i.e what’s your actual profit per day?
Then finally what’s your investment costs? i.e what’s ROI
I’m just trying to understand how viable the business is
Based on the rig costs of approximately £3000-3500 (since adding and upgrading bits I haven't updated my spreadsheets so I don't have exact figures, but I know it's close) gives an ROI of 130-150 days.
Writing all this up has made me very tempted to cash some of my mining (i.e. non speculative funds) out.Comment
