Anyone else noticed that there seem to be quite a lot of TV ads at the moment for stock brokers?

Not as many as for bookmakers but I wonder if they're targeting the same audience.
Scoots still says that Apr 2020 didn't mark the start of a new stock bull market.

Roll up, roll up invest in doesn't exists and make 10,000% return in a week, convert to real cash and retire on someone else's hard earned whilst the poor blighters lose all they had

Does anyone holding crypto even care if they actually have some mythical bits in their portfolio or is it just a game of collect the dosh until someone realises the commodity they invest in doesn't exist and all the illicit money used as collateral has been expropriated or vamoosh'd?

The physical tangibility of commodities often has very little bearing on their costs, especially in more complex instruments. Crypto only takes that a little further.

Me too, without investing in cretincoins.

Remember, it's also what everyone was saying about tulips on February 3, 1637 and right before every other pyramid scheme or "asset" bubble that ever existed.

The comparison is irrelevant my friend as the tulip event (and parabolic events in general) occur in a very short period of time (less than 1 year).

Crypto has been through 2 cycles already and the 3rd one is ongoing. Any examples of ongoing "tulips" of 10 years+? I will be dying to see them.

Remember that the bottom price of BTC or the whole MarketCap of crypto was always and ALWAYS higher than the previous high... the tulip events go back or close to zero after the parabolic move...

A fair few people will die when tulipcoins turn into dust at midnight

Were they saying that about the internet in 1990 or did you just make that sh!t up? By your age you were unlikely to have been born in 1990, whereas most of us here were, and I certainly don't recall anyone saying the internet wouldn't last.

Now ... the dot.com bubble of the early 2000's, that's more like your little crypto craze

I might be younger than you but I am born prior to 1990.

With great respect to you guys, but by the sounds of it you do not understand how blockchain/crypto works.... You guys seem to miss the point, massively! Blockchain and crypto is revolutionary! Speculation is one, but use is another!

A bubble won't last longer than 12 months... BTC was introduced in 2008 and it's still here, wake up!
