The folks over at the Forex factory Bitcoin Thread have been trying to short it and not having a great time. It's never fun to try and halt a runaway freight train although they might be getting their wish now if this isn't just a standard pullback/corrective move. This pullback looks more counter-trend impulsive than corrective though - don't see any previous resistance that can act as support until around 11500, moving averages (4H 20 and 50 EMAs) still intact. 4H 50 looks like it might be significant on my broker (GKFX - MT4) charts anyway...

I think he sold out of his physical btc and will buy back after the drop - hence technically its the same as shorting on a cfd provider/spreadbetter.

What the score with the HL tracker fund (2 versions eur and krona), do they actually trade it or just buy and let it sit... and can it be shorted.... its an easy way of being exposed to bitcoin as long as its managed properly, ie get out now, buy back in etc etc but i dont know how it operates. Im going to fire them an email.
