Fellow contractor onsite with me rides around in a Panamera, he says it's depreciated
45 grand in the time he's had it, just saying like
I have never claimed anything of the sort. And nobody who has ever known me or worked with me has ever made such a claim, and with good reason. Ask MF, he'll tell you I'm pretty nifty at nicking test-kit, and pretty crap at almost everything else. I can spot a deluded feckwit at fifty paces in the dark, though.
Or do I have it completely wrong, and one day in May 2017, a little more than half the UK electorate will wake up and think "I know what would make my life better? If only the UK was a bit more like North Korea".![]()

I am not advocating Communism, not sure where you got that idea from.

Exactly
You know what Mordy et al, there is something in this champagne socialism thing and I am really getting into it.
I have two different friends, whose father's were Labour MP's.
I can say, both families are loaded.
The one, his father has the former constituency house, the house in Notting Hill, and the house in the south of France, he's the one who wants the progressive taxes bought in.
the other one, also have the constituency house and a house in the smoke, his father has always run around in nice XJ6's.
What's not to like.
I reckon some here, should forget their prejudices and look at the merits of joining us in the champagne socialism movement.
First step is get a bottle of Moet and keep it in your fridge ready to celebrate Party and/or affiliates (eg Trade Unions) successes.
Milan in "the future's bright" mode.

Mr Benes, Maybe we can raise such a toast together. (although I hope you have something better than Moet)
MrMarkyMark in going with the fashion mode.
yes, quite, we have to make sure we have the right accessories and will seamlessly fit in with our new friends on the left
@FullyAutomatrix,
which vintage of Moet should we keep in our fridges ?
Does Jeremy have an FAQ with beginners answers to questions like this for new convertees ?
Best,
Milan in "chin chin to the revolution" mode.

Can't quite read the vintage, but your eyes might be better than mine
