Apple now has a patch for OS X. I assume it will appear in Software Update soon, but if you can't wait, this post has links: https://applespotlight.com/2014/09/2...vulnerability/Comment

The most alarming aspect is that, for successful attacks, it's hard to say how far the damage reached. For every ten reconnaissance attacks stopped by CloudFlare, there's at least one that got through, and researchers are still piecing out the net effect of all those harvested credentials and compromised systems. We may have stopped the vulnerability within a week, but the damage will likely be playing out for months or even years to come.Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.Comment

Quick into your concrete fallout bunker, please remember to lock the door after yourself and come out when it's safe, say oh 3,000 years or so.Originally posted by suityou01 View Post

Bollocks it is, it's you scaremongering over yet another vulnerability, these things pop up pretty often, inconvenient and expensive, but manageable.Originally posted by suityou01 View PostThis is grown up IT stuff love. The only positive contribution I've ever detected from your posts are to your post count which you pad constantly.Comment
