Thanks for replies so far. I emailed about 60 email addresses this morning, but no one has posted anything yet? I myself am a contractor, so this project is really for benefit of the workers. I am hoping to get all kinds of companies to post jobs etc. Contractors deserve to have a site just for contract/temp/weekend work etc...no permie stuff!

Ermm - I've been working on that for around 5 years. We have yet to work out a way to make it commercially viable, and we have a captive audience of around 16k contractors to play with. So my earlier answer stands.
And as a rough guide - around £15k to build it, another £15k to skin it and provide a good infrastructure, around £400k to launch it nationally. HTH....
